My first 12 Hours

“I was sitting alone in a store in the middle of nowhere. I didn’t know anyone. I knew nothing about the area… Suddenly a women walks in with a big smile on her face telling me she is the one taking me to Tojeiro. This was the first time I felt the incredible sense of acceptance and kindness that Tojeiro offers. We pulled up to house and I was immediately greeted by a few kind faces telling me where I should put my bags. Within 20 minutes I knew 10 or 15 people on the farm. Even though I felt pretty overwhelmed, I had never felt more comfortable.

Birds chirping, dogs barking, people laughing, bees buzzing, water flowing. My first morning in Tojeiro. This place is alive. Whether it’s 7 in the morning, or 11 at night… You will find people playing games, engaging in meaningful conversations, or jamming on different instruments. All of this life insures there is never a dull moment on this little farm in the mountains… I think that’s why people love it here.”
